65 50 050 - Removing and installing/replacing Central Information Display (CID)





Special tools required:





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove centre fresh-air grille 64 22 165 Removing and Installing Or Replacing Middle Fresh-Air Grille





Lever trim (1) with special tool 00 9 317 out of catches and remove towards top.





Release screws (1) from CID (2) on speaker carrier (3).





Fold out CID (1) manually.
Unfasten screws (2).
Remove CID (1) towards top.





Slide protective sleeve (1) upwards.
Unfasten plug connection (2) and disconnect.
Disconnect plug connection (3).

Installation:
Ensure correct routing of cables.





Replacement:
Carry out vehicle programming/coding Programming and Relearning.
