34 52 516 - Removing and installing / replacing DSC control unit





Important!

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove left suspension cross-brace 51 71 371 Removing and Installing/Replacing Tension Strut on Left or Right Spring Strut Dome
- Disengage heater feed / heater return water hoses from holders





Disconnect plug connection (1).
Unfasten screws (2).





Carefully detach control unit (1) in direction of arrow from hydraulic control unit (2).

Important!
Risk of damage to the contacts when removing and installing the hydraulic control unit.





Installation Note:
Keep sealing faces clean.
Replace bolts.
Observe tightening sequence (1-4).
Tightening torque 34 51 1AZ 34 51 Slip Control System (DSC).





Replacement:
- Carry out programming/coding Programming and Relearning
- Steering angle sensor adjustment Adjustments
or
- Function check of hydraulic control unit
