Check the Bearing Points

Repair instruction for noises at the front seats

Fault pattern:
Front seats click or grate with different loads.

Run the following check to localize the noise:
1. Place height adjustment downwards, place tilt adjustment downwards; in this position, the noise can usually be heard the clearest.
2. Simulate a load change of the seat by shifting weight.
3. Hold the bearing points at the front left and right with your finger, see illustration 1.
4. Check whether you can feel significant play in the bearing point with a load change.
