Repair instruction for grating noise from the gear selector switch trim panel

Cause
The reinforcing ribs of the gear selector switch trim panel are rubbing at the mounting bracket of the centre console. When a load is applied, a grating noise occurs at the centre armrest.

Repair instruction
- Remove the gear selector switch trim panel
- Bond felt strips to the centre console mounting bracket below the gear selector switch trim panel, see illustration
- Fit the gear selector switch trim panel
