Locking Noise From The Roof Mechanical System

Repair instruction for locking noise (clicking) from the roof mechanical system
If the roof mechanical system is not correctly adjusted, loud cracking noises can occur on locking.

Repair instruction:
1. Determine which side the noise is coming from (left/right or both).
2. Remove the side gaiters.
3. Check the setting of the roof mechanical system (glass lid):
- If offset to the left/right: Set the mechanical system parallel.
- If parallel to the left/right: Shift the mechanical system by a maximum of 2 mm.
To do so, the drive unit must be removed.

NOTE: A residual function noise on locking is always audible.
