Cause
The edge of the door trim panel makes contact with the inner door panel in the area of the B-pillar.

Repair instruction
Apply BMW protecting spray between the door trim panel and inner door panel in the area of the B-pillar. The door trim panel does not have to be removed.

NOTE: Cover the area around the spray zone. After spraying, use a suitable cleaning agent to clean the
spray zone.
