11 12 595 Checking a valve guide for wear (M57T2-SCR)

Special tools required:





Necessary preliminary work:
^ Remove valve

To measure tilt clearance, install a new valve so that end of valve stem end is flush with valve guide.





Fit special tool 00 2 510 (dial gauge) and measure tilt clearance.

Max. permitted tilt clearance:

Refer to Technical Data.

Note:
In event of excessive tilt clearance, replace cylinder head and valves.





Assemble engine.
