Restrictions of person recognition
- Person recognition works in the range of 15 m - 100 m.
- The person to be detected must be completely visible. Hats, helmets and umbrellas can restrict detection. Insulating clothing or other insulating material can also lead to problems.
- Only persons in upright positions are detected. Cyclists who are bent over and animals are not detected.
- During bad weather (rain, fog, snow), person recognition can be negatively influenced.
- Reduced performance of person recognition can occur due to environmental influences such as small valleys, hills, right curves and vehicles moving into the camera image.
