INFORMATION
The customer may complain that a sooty material (black dust) is seen on the side of the engine in the area of the turbocharger waste gate pivot. This is inherent in the design of the turbocharger and can only
be detected after a few thousand miles have been driven. This sooty material does not have a negative effect on vehicle operation or emissions. Do not replace any parts to resolve this condition.
