Transfer Box Control Unit

The transfer box VTG is part of the xDrive all-wheel drive system. The VTG handles the stepless ignition distribution of drive torque to the front and rear axles. The ignition distribution takes place in line with requirements by means of an electronically controlled multi-plate clutch.
