Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove power distributor 61 14 010 Removing and Installing/Replacing Distribution Box (on Battery)





Important!
Do not under any circumstances pull/lever safety battery terminal off by force.





Open cover (1) and slacken nut underneath. Tightening torque 61 21 1AZ Mechanical Specifications.
Slacken nut (2). Tightening torque 61 12 3AZ Specifications.
If necessary, disconnect cable (4) from safety battery terminal.
Disconnect battery positive lead (3).
