Convertible Top Deck Lid Seal: Service and Repair

51 76 005 - Replacing convertible top compartment lid seal





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Open soft top compartment lid, fold in soft top if necessary
- Remove window cavity cover strip at outer Service and Repair left and right





Note:
Prior to removing, pay attention to the exact installation position with respect to the adjoining components.





Important!
Do not stretch, kink or crush seal (1).

Release seal (1) at catches (2).

Pull off seal (1) along dashed line.

Installation:
Ensure seal (1) is correctly seated.
Moisten seal (1) with soapy water.
Catches (2) must not be damaged.
