Strut Tower Brace: Service and Repair

51 71 371 Removing And Installing/Replacing Tension Strut On Left Or Right Spring Strut Dome

Special tools required:
- 00 9 120

IMPORTANT:
- Vehicles must not be driven without tension struts.
- Driving without tension struts may damage the vehicle body.
- Tension struts can be secured with screws or nuts.
- Screws must be tightened to specified torque and then tightened down with special tool 00 9 120.







Release nuts/screws (2) and remove tension strut (1).

Installation:
Tighten down nuts (2) to specified torque.
Replace screws (2), tighten to specified torque and then to angle of rotation.
