Repair instruction for noise from hinge of the centre armrest

Cause
The hinge squeaks when the centre armrest is opened or closed.

Repair instruction

1. Lubricate the hinge of the centre armrest
Use a suitable lubricant to lubricate the sliding surfaces of the hinge, see illustration.

NOTE: If lubricating does not remove the noise, the protrusion at the hinge has to be shortened.







2. Shorten the protrusion at the centre armrest hinge
- Remove the centre armrest
- Use a suitable tool to shorten the protrusion at the hinge by 0.5 mm, see arrows
- Fit the centre armrest
