SITUATION

Noise from the area of the head restraint or seat backrest when the vehicle is in motion or when adjusting the head restraint

CAUSE

The Active Head Restraint connecting cable causes noises.

[NEW] INFORMATION

Refer to ISTA diagnosis for the required repair procedure. The test plan "AM5201_00012-Front seat, interference noises" can be found under: "Activities/Information search/Function Structure/Body/Mechanism, noise, optical element; leaks/Noise/Interference noise at front seat". For information on NED (Non - electric Diagnosis) test plans, refer to SI B07 03 10.

[NEW] WARRANTY

Refer to the KSD2 to code the repair performed as prescribed by ISTA diagnosis results and the Warranty Policy and Procedures Manual for specific warranty coverage.
