Missing Felt Strips On The Glass Slide/tilt Sunroof Cover

Repair instruction for rattling noise caused by missing felt strips on the glass slide/tilt sunroof cover
Check whether there are three felt strips on the glass slide/tilt sunroof cover
1. Check the setting of the glass slide/tilt sunroof cover.
2. Slide the floating headliner to the rear and place the roof in its raised position.
3. Check whether there are three felt strips on the frame of the glass slide/tilt sunroof cover. See Fig. 1.
4. Replace missing felt strips.
A felt strip is fitted in the centre.
Felt strips are fitted 185 mm to the left and right of the centre.

NOTE: before the felt strips are fitted, degrease the adhesive area.

5. Carry out function test

Three felt strips (1) must be fitted on the chassis of the glass slide/tilt sunroof cover.
