Repair instruction
Adjusting the lid wedge fastening
1. Open the side luggage compartment lid on the left and right of the luggage compartment trim
2. Loosen the nut of the bolt connection of the wedge fastening on the inside of the D-pillar
3. Undo the wedge fastening by a maximum of one revolution (360°) in such a way that the upper luggage compartment lid is once again flush and adequately tensioned.







Check the close function, adjust the closing bracket if necessary
1. Undo the bolt connection at the luggage compartment lid catch
2. Adjust the locking bracket to the centre and set a distance of 7.5 mm to the luggage compartment lid catch
3. Retighten the screw connection to 20 Nm.







NOTE: On closing the upper luggage compartment lid, the Soft Close Automatic system must not strike or scrape the luggage compartment lock. Watch out for scratches.
