Replacing Valve for Rear A/C System

64 51 514 - Replacing valve for rear A/C system





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Draw off refrigerant from A/C system Drawing off, Evacuating and Filling A/C System (R 134a).
- Remove expansion valve cover Removing and Installing/Replacing Expansion Valve.





Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
Press housing half (2) upwards slightly with a suitable screwdriver (3).
Feed out cable (4) in direction of arrow.

Installation:
Make sure housing half (2) is correctly seated on housing.





Unscrew nuts (1).
Release screw (2) slightly.
Pull out valve for rear A/C system (3).

Installation:
Replace sealing rings.
