Removing and Installing/Replacing Drive for Seat Longitudinal/Tilt Adjustment (Comfort Seats in Rear Compartment)

67 31 600 - Removing and installing/replacing drive for seat longitudinal/tilt adjustment (comfort seats in rear compartment)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear seat padding completely Removing and Installing Padding for Left or Right Rear Seat.





Detach retainers (1) at both rubber straps and pull gap cover (2) forwards slightly.





Cut through cable ties (1) and pull gap cover (2) downwards.

Installation:
Make sure cable ties are correctly positioned.

Release both clips (3) and remove trim (4) towards top.





Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release screws (2).
Detach drive for seat longitudinal/tilt adjustment (2) from drive shafts (4) and feed out in direction of arrow.

Installation:
Make sure drive shafts (4) are correctly seated.





Replacement:
Initialize Testing and Inspection drive for seat longitudinal/tilt adjustment.
