Replacing Front Ride-Height Sensor (AWD)

37 14 511 - Replacing front ride-height sensor (AWD)





Important!
Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage (ESD protection) 61 35 ... Notes on ESD Protection (Electro Static Discharge).





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove right steering gear cover





Release nut (1) and disconnect jointed rod (2).
Tightening torque 37 14 7AZ [1][2]Specifications.
Release screws (4), remove ride-height sensor from front axle carrier and disconnect plug connection.

Installation Note:
Sensor lever (3) must point from ride-height sensor to right front wheel.
Tightening torque 37 14 6AZ [1][2]Specifications.





After installation:
- Check headlight adjustment Adjusting Headlights, correct if necessary
