Replacing Sleeve for Steering Spindle (4WD)

32 31 102 - Replacing sleeve for steering spindle (4WD)





Important!
Do not kink floor panelling under any circumstances!

After installation:
- Carry out steering angle sensor adjustment Adjustments





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove lower section of steering spindle Removing and Installing/Replacing Steering Spindle Lower Section (AWD)

- Remove accelerator pedal module Service and Repair

- Take floor panelling out of bulkhead and secure





Release nut (1) and press cable duct a little to one side.
Remove sleeve (2) from bulkhead.

Installation Note:
Grease/spray sleeve (2) from outside with silicone grease.
Align sleeve (2) by way of arrow to bulkhead and insert.
Check seating of sleeve (2), correct if necessary.
