The following list basically represents the removal sequence

- Remove heat shield
- Remove and install rear axle support (FR number: 3331000)
- Remove and install rear left wheel arch cover (FR number: 5171041)
- Remove and install rear right wheel arch cover (FR number: 5171041)
- Remove and install left luggage compartment wheel arch panel (FR number: 5147151)
- Remove and install right luggage compartment wheel arch panel (FR number: 5147161Q)
- Remove battery (FR number: 6121010)
- Partially detach wiring harness and tie to one side
