65 12 072 - Removing and installing/replacing amplifier (Top hi-fi system)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Partially remove luggage compartment wheel arch trim on left





Note:
Follow instructions for handling optical fibers 61 00 ... Notes on Handling Optical Fibers.





Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.
Pull out retaining plates (2) in direction of arrow.

Installation Note:
Make retaining plates (2) are correctly seated.

Remove amplifier (3) from holder (4).





Replacement:
Carry out programming/coding Programming and Relearning.
