SUBJECT
No AM Reception During Convertible Top Operation

MODEL
E93 (3 Series Convertible)

SITUATION
There is no AM reception during the convertible top operation (opening or closing).

CAUSE
The ground connection of the rear windshield amplifier is interrupted only in AM mode during the convertible top movement (opening or closing).

INFORMATION
Do not replace parts.

Inform the customer that there is nothing functionally wrong with the radio.
