Initializing Telestart Transmitter

Initializing Telestart transmitter
The Telestart transmitters must be initialized manually.
2 Telestart transmitters can be initialized and used per vehicle.

Initializing the Telestart transmitter

NOTE: Initialize both Telestart transmitters directly in succession.

After switching terminal R on and off, the CAS is ready to teach in Telestart transmitters in a period of 30 seconds. If both Telestart transmitters are taught in directly in succession (within the 30 seconds), both telestart transmitters are ready to function.

If only one Telestart transmitter is taught in within the 30 seconds, then only the last Telestart transmitter to be taught in will be operational.

Sequence for initialization:
1. Close all vehicle doors.
2. Switch terminal R on and off (maximum ON time 5 seconds) The Car Access System (CAS) is ready for initialization for approx. 30 seconds.
3. Press the OFF button of the Telestart transmitter within 5 seconds and, with the OFF button held pressed, briefly press the ON button 3 times.
4. Release both buttons. The indicator lamp for the status indicator flashes (3 times).
5. The central locking signals successful initialization of the Telestart transmitter by immediately locking and unlocking.

The initialization procedure must be repeated if there is no checkback signal from the central locking. Starting with Point 3, repeat the procedure to initialize the second Telestart transmitter.

Sequence for initialization:
1. Close all vehicle doors.
2. Switch terminal R on and off (maximum ON time 5 seconds)
The Car Access System (CAS) is ready for initialization for approx. 30 seconds.
3. Within 10 seconds, simultaneously press the ON button and the OFF button for 3 seconds. The (LED) indicator lamp lights up orange.
4. Release both buttons at the same time.
5. Within 10 seconds (while the indictor light is still lit) briefly press the ON button three times. The indicator lamp flashes (for approx. 1.5 seconds).
6. The central locking signals successful initialization of the Telestart transmitter by immediately locking and unlocking.

The initialization procedure must be repeated if there is no checkback signal from the central locking. Starting with Point 3, repeat the procedure to initialize the second Telestart transmitter.
