Wind Deflector

Repair instruction for rattling / grating noise from the wind deflector
The ends of the centre roof bow make contact with the wind deflector. Traces of abrasion can be seen in the recess of the wind deflector.

Repair instruction
1. Check the end of the centre roof bow for welding beads. If there are welding beads, grind them off and repaint the bow, see illustration.
2. Check the course of the ribbon. The ribbon must not be pinched. Reposition the course by turning the bracket.
3. Attach a felt strip into the recess of the wind deflector.
