51 43 012 - Replacing rear left or right side trim panel upper section





Important!

When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove side trim panel upper section at rear Removing and Installing/Replacing Rear Left or Right Upper Side Trim Section





Unclip Bowden cable (1) from catch (2).

Installation Note:
Catch (2) must not be damaged.





Slide back trim (1).
Unclip Bowden cable (2) in direction of arrow from catch on trim (1) and remove towards rear.

Installation Note:
Catch on trim (1) must not be damaged.





Installation Note:
Guides (1 and 2) must not be damaged or missing.
Modify sheet nut (3).
If necessary, replace faulty sheet nut (3).
