51 44 ... - Removing and installing/replacing front roofliner trim





Important!
Risk of damage!
When working on trim panel components, make sure that the sensitive surfaces are not scratched or damaged.





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- If necessary, open convertible top
- Remove roof switch cluster Removing and Installing/Replacing Roof Switch Centre
- Remove both front mirror lights 63 31 050 Removing and Installing/Replacing Mirror Light
- Remove both sun visors Service and Repair
- Remove both trims for front roof pillar Removing and Installing/Replacing Trim for Roof Pillar at Front (A-pillar), Left or Right





Fold back mucket (1) at top to one side and release screw (2) underneath on both sides.

Installation Note:
Make sure mucket (1) is correctly seated on trim (3) along dashed line.





Release mucket (1) from trim (2).
Pull back trim (2) in direction of arrow and remove.

Installation Note:
Make sure mucket (1) is correctly seated.





Installation Note:
Holder (1) and guide (2) on trim (3) must not be damaged.
