51 23 210 - Removing and installing/replacing cable for hood/bonnet lock (in engine compartment) (N52, N54)





Special tools required:





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove hood/bonnet lock





Lever out cover (1) from coupler (2) in direction of arrow.
Lever out Bowden cable (3) in direction of arrow.





Unclip coupler (1) with special tool 00 9 317 in direction of arrow.





Installation:
Catches (1 and 2) on cable for hood/bonnet lock (3) must not be damaged.





Unclip cable (1) from retaining clip (2) and feed out through front panel (3).
