65 12 072 Removing and installing amplifier (replacing hi-fi system)







IMPORTANT: Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic discharge (ESD protection).







Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear left luggage compartment wheel arch panel
- Disconnect negative battery cable







Take off cover for amplifier (1) in upward direction.







Release screws (1).
Unfasten plug connection (3) and disconnect.
Remove amplifier (2) with holder by pulling upward.







Release nuts (2) and screw (3).
Remove holder (4) from amplifier (1).







Replacement:
Carry out programming/encoding.
