No Crank after CAS3 Replacement

SITUATION
After replacing the CAS3 (Car Access System), the vehicle has a "No crank" condition.
CAUSE
The CAS "Line mode" is still active. Either the CAS3 was not marked as "Replaced" when the Progman session was started, or the message at the end of the Progman session to delete the "Line mode" was overlooked.
PROCEDURE
To insure all necessary steps are followed when replacing a control module, always mark the control unit as "Replaced" in the Progman session.
Select "Service Functions" in Progman and follow the test plan to delete the CAS "Line mode".
