Rear Turn Signal is Inoperative

Vehicles produced from September 30, 2006 to March 6, 2007

SITUATION

One or both of the rear turn signals is inoperative.

CAUSE

The metal tab on the turn signal bulb socket interferes with the rear tail lamp housing causing a poor contact.

CORRECTION





Remove the rear turn signal bulb socket and turn the socket 180 degrees so that the longer terminal (double terminal) (1) is facing down (2) when installed in tail lamp housing.

Note:
Please perform the above procedure on both rear turn signal sockets regardless of operation.
