Software Errors Corrected with Progman

SITUATION
Customer may complain of the following:
[NEW] The following software errors were corrected with the release of Progman 27.01.00 (Target data Status E070-07-09-520).
1. An erroneous check control message stating the "SOS inactive" is displayed. Refer to SI B84 16 07 for more information.
2. Vehicles equipped with iPOD using the USB interface (SA6FL), switches from iPOD mode to FM mode.
3. Intermittently there is no sound from the radio in FM mode only. Vehicles equipped with CHAMP only. Normal operation is restored after sleep mode or radio switched to AM.
4. When the vehicle is started the audio treble switches to the default value. However the display continues to show the correct value set. Vehicles equipped with CHAMP only.
5. CCC: Radio does not resume with previously listened to station. Refer to SI B65 28 07 for more information.
6. Idle speed complaints after a cold start (outside temperatures below 32�F). Idle speed fluctuations after a warm start or engine at operating temperatures. N52K engine only.
7. No audio output from audio sources. Top HiFi Amp fault A1A8 "No communication with coprocessor" is stored. Only affects vehicles with Top HiFi Amp SA 677.
8. [NEW] RSE Rear Seat Entertainment complaints: Monitor stays/goes blank, DVD eject not possible. DVD player will not turn on.
The following software errors were corrected with the release of Progman 25.01.00 (Target data Status E070-07-03-515).
9. CCC (Car Communication Computer) equipped vehicle, the SDARS (Satellite Radio) stored station list is intermittently empty since programming with Progman V25.00.00.
10. Poor RTTI (Real Time Traffic Information) reception. The CID (Central Information Display) is constantly displaying "Transferring Messages" since programming with Progman V25.00.00.
11. CCC: Reverse camera brightness settings spontaneously change to minimum since programming with Progman V25.00.00.
The following software errors were corrected with the release of Progman 25.00.00 (Target data Status E070-07-03-510).
1. [NEW] CCC: If the buttons for the seat ventilation are selected, the graphic for the seat-heating distribution from an E60 is shown in the CID.
2. The transmission goes into "failsafe" mode when reverse gear is selected. EGS fault "4FB4 - gear control: internal error" is stored. Refer to SI B24 01 07 for more information.
3. CCC: Slow response to inputs made when using controller after startup.
4. CCC: A high frequency whistling noise intermittently can be heard in radio mode.
5. CCC: Navigation system pop-up arrow display missing. Refer to SI B84 61 06.
6. CCC: CD/CDC track advances after key cycled. Refer to SI B65 32 05.
7. CCC: The programmable diamond MFL button does not work when set to "Next entertainment source" when vehicle is in motion.
8. CCC: The customer occasionally has poor radio reception after the vehicle was programmed with Progman V23.x or V24.x.
9. SDARS (Satellite radio) receiver fault "A537 - Sat aerial short circuit" is stored.
10. Vehicle is difficult to start from a hot start with a high external temperature and at a high altitude.
The following software errors were corrected with the release of Progman 24.01.00 (Target data Status E070-06-12-540).
1. N62TU engine produced up to 12/29/06 "Service Engine Soon" warning is illuminated. DME DMTL FC "2A13 DMTL Leakage diagnostics" is stored.
2. The seat will not move in any direction. Only vehicles equipped with Active seats (SA 451), Lumbar Support seats (SA 488), and Multi-Contour seats (SA 456). Refer to SI B52 08 06 for further information.

For all vehicles, on a customer complaint basis only, refer to the following procedure and warranty information.
1. [NEW] Update the complete vehicle per SI B09 05 01 (Coding, Individualization, Programming) Procedure B, using Progman 27.01.00 (Target Data Status E070-07-09-520) or higher.
