Removing and Installing/Replacing DSC Hydraulic Unit
34 51 527 - Removing and installing or replacing DSC hydraulic unit
Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Read and comply with General Information Service and Repair.
- Remove brake master cylinder Removing and Installing/Replacing Master Brake Cylinder for DSC for DSC
Important!
Do not mix up brake lines, mark prior to removal if necessary.
Close off connection bores with plugs.
Important!
If necessary, detach brake lines from mounting.
Brake lines must not be bent.
Disconnect plug connection (1) to control unit.
Release brake lines (2) and if necessary disconnect lines to brake master cylinder completely.
Installation:
Note changed tightening torque.
Tightening torque 34 32 6AZ 34 32 Brake Lines.
Release screw (3) and carefully feed out and remove hydraulic unit.
When replacing hydraulic unit:
Release screws (1) and convert holder (2).
After installation:
- Bleed braking system Bleeding Brake System with DSC
- Mix-up check of brake lines
- Function check, hydraulic unit
When replacing control unit:
- Carry out programming/coding Programming and Relearning
- Adjustment of steering angle sensor
