Wiper Switch: Service and Repair

61 31 040 - Removing and installing/replacing switch for windscreen wipers





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Disconnect battery negative lead Disconnecting and Connecting Battery Negative Lead
- Remove airbag unit Removing and Installing / Replacing Airbag Unit
- Remove steering wheel Removing and Installing/Replacing Steering Wheel
- Remove front section of steering column trim Removing and Installing / Replacing Front Section of Steering Column Cover





Release screws (1) and remove windshield wiper switch (2) towards rear.
