Overview of functions
With filling control, the DME monitors the air intake system. For each operating point, the DME calculates the theoretical air mass flow through-rate and compares this value with the value measured by the air-mass sensor. If the deviations are excessive, a fault is stored in the diagnostic fault code memory.
