63 25 000 - Removing and installing/replacing supplementary brake light (up to 09/07)





Important!
Read and comply with notes on protection against electrostatic damage (ESD protection) 61 35 ... Notes on ESD Protection (Electro Static Discharge).





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove panel for rear lid





Unlock retaining clips (1) on both sides with a suitable tool (e.g. pointed pliers) and simultaneously press towards rear slightly.

Installation Note:
Make sure supplementary brake light engages correctly in rear lid.





Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release locking hooks (2) on both sides, pull supplementary brake light (3) towards rear out of rear lid and remove.





Installation Note:
Retaining clips (1) and locking hooks (2) of supplementary brake light (3) must not be damaged.
