Removing and Installing/Replacing Drive For Head Restraint Height Adjustment on

67 31 570 - Removing and installing/replacing drive for head restraint height adjustment on left or right front seat





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove rear panel on front seat backrest Removing and Installing/Replacing Rear Panel on Left or Right Front Seat Backrest (Normal/Manual)





Important!
Do not bend open retaining lugs on plug connection (1). Risk of breakage!

Disconnect plug connection (1) in direction of arrow.

Note:
Secure drive for head restraint height adjustment (3) against falling out.

Release screws (2) and remove drive for head restraint height adjustment (3) in direction of arrow.

If necessary, remove inner drive shaft from drive for head restraint height adjustment (3).





Installation:
Ensure drive shaft (1) is correctly engaged in both plug-in locations (2) and (3).
First connect drive shaft (1) with drive for head restraint height adjustment (4).
