51 47 066 - Removing and installing/replacing illuminated finishing strip on front left or right entrance





Special tools required:
- 00 9 317 00 9 317 Trim Panel Wedge





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove inner entrance cover strip 51 47 000 Removing and Installing/Replacing Front (Inside) Left or Right Entrance Cover Strip
- Move front seat completely towards rear and upwards





Lever out mucket (1) at bottom.
Grip carpet (2) under front seat and disconnect plug connection (3).
Detach butylene tape (5), carefully detach cable (4) from seal (6) and feed out.

Installation:
Make sure cable (4) is correctly positioned on bead for mucket (1),
Stick on new butylene tape (5).





Unclip clips (1) for finishing strip (2) with special tool 00 9 317 00 9 317 Trim Panel Wedge.
Remove finishing strip (2).





Installation:
If necessary, replace faulty clips (1).
