CCC Navigation (CCC-BO User Interface)
CCC - Navigation
Car Communication Computer (CCC) navigation
In the test module "CCC navigation", the following connections / functions are tested.
- Diagnostic fault memory entries (after self-test and system test)
- HIP module
- Rotation rate sensor
- GPS antenna
Analysis of the diagnostic fault memory entries
In the test module "CCC navigation", the relevant diagnostic fault memory entries are analyzed and the corresponding fault remedy measures are displayed. Some faults are only entered in the memory when a self-test or system test is run. These tests are run automatically at the start of the test module.
Test of the HIP module
The HIP module is a component that can be replaced separately in the CCC.
In the test module "CCC navigation", a test is started to determine whether the HIP module is functional. The following points must be borne in mind during the diagnosis.
- Malfunctions can be remedied by briefly disconnecting the CCC from the voltage supply.
- After replacement of the HIP module, the service function "Initialize HIP module" must be run. After the initialization, the vehicle must be moved for at least 5 minutes to find the current location.
Test of the rotation rate sensor and GPS antenna
The rotation rate sensor is a component that can be replaced separately in the CCC.
If there is a problem with the HIP module, problems also occur with the rotation rate sensor and GPS antenna, as these are connected internally with the HIP module.
