Replacing Battery Positive Lead (Between Alternator, Starter Motor and Battery Positive Terminal) (N62)

12 42 500 - Removing and installing or replacing battery positive lead (between alternator, starter motor and battery positive support point) (N73)









Release screws (1).
Remove left engine support arm.





Unclip battery positive lead (2) from holders (1).





Unclip battery positive lead (3) from holders (1).
Disconnect battery positive lead from jump-start support point.
Tightening torque: 12 42 1AZ [1][2][3]12 42 Starter Line.





Add final details to vehicle.
Check function of DME.
