11 31 1AZ Left exhaust camshaft bearing cap nuts (N73)





First pass: Fit bearing cover
Second pass: Tighten down nuts of bearing bracket for cylinders 7 to 12 in area (1) from inside to outside
M6 10 Nm
M7 14 Nm
M7-8.8 15 Nm
M8 20 Nm
Third pass: Fit bearing cap (2) and tighten down
M6 10 Nm
M7 14 Nm
M7-8.8 15 Nm
M8 20 Nm
Fourth pass: Make sure bucket tappets of high-pressure pump in bearing cap 5 are in correct installation position
Final pass:
M6 10 Nm
M7 14 Nm
M7-8.8 15 Nm
M8 20 Nm
