Brake Pedal Assy: Service and Repair

35 11 000 - Removing and installing mounting block for pedals





Important!
Check the function after installation.





Remove panel for pedal assembly 51 45 185 Removing and Installing/Replacing Panel For Pedals.
Release screw (1) on footwell air duct. First pull footwell air duct to left, then remove towards bottom front.





Detach retaining clip on brake pedal (1).
Withdraw pin.
Release nuts (2).

Installation Note:
Replace nuts (2).
Tightening torque, 35 11 1AZ 35 11 Pedal Assembly Console.





Remove brake light switch (1) Service and Repair.
Release nut (2) for brake pedal.

Installation Note:
Replace nut (2).
Tightening torque, 35 11 1AZ 35 11 Pedal Assembly Console.





Unfasten screws (1).
Pull out light module with holder towards front.
Pull off connectors.
Remove light module.
Remove bearing bracket for pedal assembly.





Installation Note:
Position guide lug (1) precisely during installation to prevent damage.
