Removing and Installing/Replacing Trim on Left or Right Door Pillar (Top)

51 43 148 - Removing and installing or replacing trim on left or right door pillar (top)





Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Remove panel for door pillar (bottom) Removing and Installing/Replacing Trim for Left or Right Door Pillar (Bottom)
- Remove decorative strip on panel for door pillar Removing and Installing/Replacing Decorative Strip on Panel for Left or Right Door Pillar
- Release seatbelt screw on seat belt at bottom Removing and Installing/Replacing Front Left or Right Seat Belt





Release expander rivets (1) on panel (2).
Detach panel (2) in direction of arrow.
Feed out seatbelt strap (3).





Installation:
Following parts of trim (4) must not be damaged or missing:
1 - Guides
2 - Belt finisher strip
3 - Fixtures for expansion rivets
