Voltage too high on sensor

Terminal condition: DME, VVT - Active
Voltage condition:
4.5 V - 5.5 V

Condition for fault memory entry
3 ms

Action in service
Check plug and wiring harness, with short to +12V there is
danger of a sensor defect; check VVT-SG output voltage
(max. 5.5 V)

Fault effect and breakdown warning
VVT - Emergency default mode (max. stroke) higher fuel
consumption
