Fault description
Convenient starting system

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
The convenient starting diagnosis utility diagnoses errors in
the starter control (output stage contact shorting, sticking
relay,
control wire grounded, etc.)
Following activation of Terminal 15 and expiration of a
waiting period of TWDSTA 100 ms a tooth flank check is
run in a 100 ms measurement window.
If operation is free of errors (no tooth flanks within the 100
ms window) engine operation is enabled (B_ez = TRUE).
If rotational pulses are detected within the 100 ms
measurement window the window is extended.
If TPDSTA 1 sec. is reached during a measurement window
a DTC entry is registered.
Terminal condition: Engine operation
Voltage condition:
9V to 16V

Condition for fault memory entry
1 sec.
