Fault description
CAN, ACC: Signal error

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
Brake monitoring during ACC intervention, when the driver
depresses the brake pedal the ACC must respond by
reducing torque intervention within a specific period,
otherwise the MX error is registered!
This error is not to be reset during the current driving cycle.
Terminal condition: 800 ms after Terminal 15
Voltage condition:
battery voltage >10 V

Condition for fault memory entry
500 ms

Action in service
- Check ACC for fault entries
=> Replace defective ECU as indicated

Fault effect and breakdown warning
When this fault occurs ACC is disabled in a reversible
process
