DME2: Oxygen sensor before catalytic converter, bank 2,
electrical fault

Fault description
Pre-catalyst oxygen sensor, electrical fault

Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
composite fault for general electr. fault at oxygen sensor;
faults are also stored individually to trigger MIL as
prescribed by law; 4 categories are included:
- ceramic temperature too low (<630 °C)
- oxygen sensor's internal resistance too high (> 1800O
Terminal condition: Terminal 15 or engine operation
Voltage condition:
battery voltage<11V oder Ubatt > 16 volts

Condition for fault memory entry
If one of the fault criteria is present and/or after storage of
individual fault -> Fault code recorded after 0.2 sec.

Action in service
* Start by working through these using the test schedule if
they appear together with other errors related to the
universal oxygen sensor (CDKLSUVM 2C53h,
CDKLSUUN 2C51h, CDKHSV 2C0Ah), otherwise:
* Check wiring to universal oxygen sensor
* Replace LSU universal oxygen sensor
