Condition for fault identification
Test condition:
Voltage at Pin 3-10 4.4 V < UBatt < 5.6V
Terminal condition: Terminal 15
Voltage condition:
9.5 < U < 17.9

Condition for fault memory entry
n> 40 rpm, VANOS pulse-duty factor at least
800 ms between 20 and 80%

Action in service
Inspect plug / wiring harness / camshaft servo-motor,
otherwise replace DME
