34 51 550 - Removing and installing/replacing DSC precharging pump





Note:
Observe safety instructions on raising the vehicle 00 .. ... Lifting Vehicle With A Lifting Platform.
After completing tasks, bleed brake system Bleeding Brake System With DSC.





Remove microfilter (1).





Disconnect plug connection (1).

Installation:
Make sure plug connection engages correctly.





Release brake lines (1) and (2).

Installation:
Tightening torque 34 32 1AZ 34 32 Brake Lines.
Line connections (see designation on precharging pump):
HZ: Line to brake master cylinder
BA: Line to expansion tank

Important!
Do not mix up brake lines.
Catch escaping brake fluid.

Release screw (3).

Installation:
Tightening torque 34 51 11AZ 34 51 Slip Control System (ABS, ASC+T, DSC).





Press catch (1) in direction of arrow and disconnect plug.





Release screw (1).

Installation:
Tightening torque 34 51 11AZ 34 51 Slip Control System (ABS, ASC+T, DSC).

Remove sleeve (2) and rubber mount (3).

Installation Note:
Ensure proper seating of rubber mounts.

Modify holders (4) and (5).
